Canopy Park Begins to Take Shape in ARTAVIA

As the sun rises over ARTAVIA®, the newly named Canopy Park is beginning to take shape. The air is still, the light soft, and the landscape feels like it’s waiting. Four acres of open space sunbathed like a canvas just beginning to come to life. Soon, this space will transform into one of ARTAVIA’s lively recreational hubs.
ARTAVIA, the award-winning master-planned community in Montgomery County, has announced Canopy Park, its newest community amenity designed to bring residents together through nature, creativity, and recreation. Construction began in April 2026, with plans for the park to open in Fall 2026, further expanding ARTAVIA’s growing collection of inspirational amenities.
Inspired by the natural canopy of trees and the way light filters through its limbs, the park will be a place where art is not simply added but woven into the expressive and active environment. It’s a continuation of ARTAVIA’s lifeblood to make everyday moments feel a little more meaningful.
At the heart of the park will stand a central pavilion, formed as a shaded haven to gather, celebrate, and simply spend time together, with a variety of surrounding spaces offering opportunities for play, relaxation, and everyday enjoyment, including:
